If you’re placing wagers on esports and only have one sportsbook, you’re doing it wrong. In a random LOL match between GiantX and Team Heretics (LEC Winter 2025) from February, GiantX was a -334 favorite at bet365 and a -275 favorite at Bet99. Obviously you’d get a better deal on GiantX at Bet99 but if you only have one book you wouldn't know. Discrepancies like this are normal in sports betting, but even more glaring with esports so it’s best to use multiple sportsbooks and shop around each time you make a wager.

Keep in mind, however, that esports betting isn’t available in some jurisdictions for legal reasons. Some states have legalized gambling, but don’t allow esports wagers (i.e. Indiana) and other states allow esports betting, but major apps still don’t offer them there for logistical reasons.
