Western Kentucky hopes to defend its Conference USA Title
The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers are 6-0 SU and 4-2 ATS over their last six games against Conference USA opponents. The Hilltoppers will attempt to defend their C-USA championship at home against the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs on Saturday.
Mike White did an admirable job of replacing Brandon Doughty in Western Kentucky's pass-heavy offense this season. The junior finished the regular season ranked seventh in the nation with 3,606 passing yards, ninth in passing touchdowns with 31 and fifth with a passer rating of 178.7. White has thrown only five interceptions in 355 pass attempts this season.
The Bulldogs had a 6-0 SU and ATS streak snapped last week in a surprising 39-24 road loss to Southern Miss as a 15-point road favorite. Louisiana Tech is 9-0 ATS in its last nine games coming off of an outright loss as a favorite. All four of the Bulldogs' losses this season have come on the road.
Louisiana Tech hosted Western Kentucky earlier this season and won the game in a 55-52 shootout.
