For the third time in history, Marshall will play Ohio State (-39.5), entering as enormous favorites looking to extend its undefeated start to the season. The Buckeyes have a thing for humiliating lower-scale schools and the Thundering Herd will be no exception. Going 4-6 ATS when pinned as favorites of 40 points or more, I'm slowly backing away from this huge spread. Instead, playing with the point total is a safer decision.

marshall vs ohio state – Week 4
Hitting the OVER in both outings this season, Ohio State has proved it doesn't need its competitors to help tilt the scoreboard in our betting favor. Across the first two outings, the Buckeyes have conceded just six total points. Yet, tallying up over 50 points in each of their two performances has been enough for Ryan Day to cash the OVER on both occasions, set at 54.5 points or more.
Rotating between Stone Earle and Braylon Braxton to start the season, Marshall's offense is lacking consistency. But, again, I'm not relying on the Sun Belt Conference school here. The Thundering Herd allowed 338 total yards per game, more than enough for the Buckeyes, averaging a whopping 543.5 YPG, to blow through.

marshall vs ohio state prop Pick: OSU To score every quarter (-310)
Okay, okay -- so the odds on this aren't jaw-dropping. But, in my eyes, it's a lock. Through two outings, the Buckeyes have put up points in all eight quarters they've played in. In fact, they've gone as far as to hit the endzone in every quarter this season.
