Michigan Is Still An OVER Machine
Though you would expect that the Michigan Wolverines may be a strong UNDER play with their grinding style of football, it’s been the exact opposite. The OVER has hit in Michigan’s past nine outings – which includes the Wolverines' Week 1 game in which they scored 63 points. Michigan continues their 2016 schedule when they host the UCF Knights Saturday.
Michigan steamrolled through Week 1 by defeating Hawaii 63-3 with touchdowns coming in all facets of the game. The Wolverines tallied three touchdowns through the air, three on the ground and two pick-sixes. It could have gone much differently though as newly named starting quarterback Wilton Speight threw an interception on his first pass, only to come back and go 10 of 12 for 145 yards and threes TDs.
UCF easily won their first game of the season but didn’t look impressive on offense. Starting quarterback Justin Holman completed just 50 percent of his passes while the running game averaged 3.7 yards per rush. UCF looked crisp defensively, but South Carolina State isn’t an offensive juggernaut.
