Deion Sanders prepares to host the Utah Utes as the No. 18 Colorado Buffaloes look to ride out their three-game streak and cling to their national ranking. My Utah vs Colorado preview bets on the Buffs, who are 7-0 ATS in their last seven matchups, with FanDuel offering them as 9.5-point home favorites.

Utah vs Colorado Picks – Week 12
With a revolving door of quarterbacks stepping onto the field, the Utes have struggled to find any momentum and connection through 11 weeks. Injuries still plague Cam Rising, who has made just three appearances this year. His replacement, Isaac Wilson, hasn't felt victory since September 21 as Utah pulls five straight losses with them to Boulder, Colorado.
The Utes defense is the glue holding everything together, giving up 327.1 YPG, solid enough to be ranked 23rd in the nation. But, will it be enough to limit Shedeur Sanders' explosive offense? I'm not convinced. A glimpse at Utah's schedule would easily show that Kyle Whittingham's program has yet to meet an offense as capable as Deion Sanders.
I won't be ignorant, Colorado's offensive line will come up short often. So far, they've allowed Sanders to be sacked 28 times this season. I can predict they'll choke under the pressure of the Utes' suffocating defense more than once. However, despite the pressure, Shedeur still manages to pull through by recording at least two passing touchdowns in his last six and one rushing touchdown in his last three appearances.
Plus, the Buffs' defense sits in the top 50 for total yardage (357 YPG), which isn't too shabby. A mixture of Colorado's discipline on both sides of the ball and Utah's disaster of an offense is a cocktail favoring Deion Sanders's bench on Saturday.

Utah vs Colorado News
As if Utah's offense couldn't get any bleaker -- TE Brant Kuithe is officially out for the remainder of the year. The senior, who has battled and recovered from significant ACL injuries the past two seasons, left the field early in the third quarter during last week's inner-state rivalry over BYU. Kuithe led the Utes with eight total touchdowns and gained 505 receiving yards. He also earned the second-most receptions (35) on the team. Clearly, his absence will be noticeable on the field.
Utah vs Colorado Prop Bet: Dorian Singer UNDER 0.5 Touchdowns (-115)
Despite carrying 616 yards, the senior has yet to hit the endzone this season. His scoreless streak dates back even further, failing to snag a touchdown since September 2023. Ironically enough, his last score was against Colorado. He may lead the Utes in receiving yards, but Singer isn't the player who gets the spotlight in the red zone, instead all the touchdowns have rested on the shoulders of Brant Kuithe, Money Parks, and Caleb Lohner.
