Only one win and the mediocre Washington Huskies separate the Oregon Ducks from their first undefeated regular season since 2010. BetMGM has the Ducks as massive 19.5-point favorites at Autzen Stadium, where Dan Lanning has pieced together a 14-game win streak dating back to November 2022.
A glance back at the Huskies underdog spread history suggests they don't stand a chance at keeping up with a historic Ducks flock -- which I'll get into, of course. So, I'm all in on the final remaining undefeated team in College Football.

Washington vs Oregon Picks – Week 14
The Huskies haven't covered a spread of this magnitude since 2006, going 0-7-1 ATS when underdogs of 20 points or more in that span. Washington has played a dull season, never recording more than 31 points against FCS opponents this season. Allowing just 166 passing yards per game (ranked sixth) and 318 total yards (ranked 17th) is what has kept the Huskies from getting embarrassed weekly. However, that defense looks exhausted, now giving up 260 passing yards and 421 total yards across their last three outings.
What makes Oregon so threatening is its duality. Whether the Huskies defense decides to show up or not, I don't think it matters. Posting the second-best 73.8 completion percentage, Dillon Gabriel is one of the most precise quarterbacks in the nation. The senior has reliable options to toss to with three receivers eclipsing the 500-yard mark and Tez Johnson leading the pack with 649 yards and eight touchdowns, despite the senior being absent since Week 10.
But, Oregon can hold its own on the ground. Gabriel has nobly pocketed six rushing touchdowns but is still overshadowed by Jordan James' 1,067 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns. It's hard to shut down all the options on Dan Lanning's lengthy play-making sheet.
Now is not the time to take their foot off the gas. Oregon wants to secure that historic regular season record and show it is the program to watch out for come time for the College Football Playoff.

He went down with a possible shoulder or collarbone injury in Week 10's tilt against Michigan but Tez Johnson couldn't have picked a better time to blatantly hint at his return this week.

As mentioned above, Johnson remains Oregon's leading receiver despite missing a couple of games. From the get-go, Lanning assured media that Johnson would return to the field at some point, and what better time than rivalry week with a perfect record on the line?
