Now Rakhmonov is a -300 favorite for his fight vs Garry, who comes back as the +240 underdog. This will be an epic co-main event for UFC 310, as the winner likely gets the next title shot vs champ Belal Muhammad.

How To Bet Rakhmonov

Shavkat's claim to fame is his impressive stoppage streak. "Nomad" has secured six consecutive UFC wins, five by submission and one by KO. He's the most terrifying finisher in the welterweight division right now, and maybe second only to Khamzat Chimaev in the hype category for UFC prospects.

Rakhmonov is the real deal, but he may not have it as easy vs Garry, despite what the odds suggest. While Garry is nowhere close to the finisher Shavkat is, the Irishman is a talented grappler who has been training in Brazil for a while now. He'll resist a lot of Rakhmonov's grappling advances, leaving big chunks of time for striking.

It's certainly Shavkat locks in the choke, so you can bet him by submission, but I'd much rather wait for his KO prop odds, as this could end up being a striking battle.

How To Bet Garry

Garry has softened on his stance as the UFC's newest heel, perhaps because his last few performances haven't been very exciting. Garry enters the Shavkat fight coming off three consecutive decisions. There wasn't much to take away from any of those matchups, other than his grappling holds up against other strikers.

Rakhmonov will want to test Garry's grappling, but the Irishman has five rounds to work with, so even if Shavkat pins him for an entire round, he can recover.

I expect this to be a very hesitant fight because that's what Garry does to people. Opponents are scared of his long reach and quick hands. I'm very much in on Garry ML, but I also love a flier on him to win by decision.

Shavkat vs Garry Picks

I think Garry will surprise people in this fight. He may slow the pace down and make things boring, but that's probably his best chance to win.

Garry is my underdog ML bet, and I'll also take the OVER 2.5 rounds.

Pick: Garry (+240); OVER 2.5 Rounds
