I'm back with two more MLB player prop picks today, focusing on a few big boppers.
These MLB player prop selections feature a backing of Teoscar Hernandez and a fade of Marcell Ozuna (despite the Braves bomber's big season).
Here are my two MLB player prop picks today with breakdowns:

MLB Prop Pick Today: Teoscar Hernandez OVER 0.5 Hits (-250)
Dodgers vs Phillies Odds - Game Time: 10:10 pm ET
Tyler Phillips broke out of nowhere with a few great starts for the Phillies earlier this year. In July he posted a 1.80 ERA and went 15-straight innings without a run against. But, things turned sideways in his last start, with the Mariners putting up eight runs in 1.2 innings against him.
This mediocre Phillips seems much more in line with what we've seen from the young starter in the minors. In two minor-league levels this year he had a 4.92 ERA and he rocked a 6.13 ERA across a full minors season in 2021. I like the UNDER 15.5 total outs recorded by Phillips today at -195, but my main prop dives a little deeper.
If the league has figured Phillips out, that's great news for Teoscar Hernandez. The Dodgers slugger enters this contest on one of his patented heaters. Hernandez has seven hits and three homers in his last 23 at-bats, good for a .391 average and 1.330 OPS. He's got hits in each of his last five games (with eight hits in total in that run).

MLB Prop Pick Today: Marcell Ozuna UNDER 0.5 Hits (+170)
Brewers vs Braves Odds - Game Time: 7:20 pm ET
Marcell Ozuna is having an amazing season, don't get me wrong. But, he's on a bit of a cold streak lately. The Braves DH has seen his average drop 10 points in the last two weeks and has been held hitless in three of his last six contests.
Brewers SP Freddy Peralta has been great against most of the Braves bats, holding current Atlanta hitters to a .681 OPS and .197 average in 76 at-bats. But, he's even better against Ozuna. The Braves basher has just three hits in 18 at-bats against Peralta, rocking a .167 career average.
When Peralta faced the Braves last week, the Brewers held Ozuna to no hits in five at-bats with four strikeouts.
