BYU Vs Colorado Alamo Bowl Odds and Picks: Hunter & Sanders To Leave Legacy With Buffs

Each coming off successful seasons in their own ways, BYU and Colorado clash in the Alamo Bowl in San Antonio, Texas. FanDuel is offering the Buffaloes as 3.5-point favorites, finishing their regular season with their best record since 2016.

The Cougars were ranked as high as No. 6 this year, rolling with a perfect record until the final three weeks of the season. Colorado, looking for its first bowl win since 2004, has a full bench with none of its starters jumping in the transfer portal.

BYU Vs Colorado Picks – alamo Bowl

Undefeated up until Week 12, there was once a world where BYU could've snuck into the College Football Playoff. The Cougars are averaging 29 PPG and eclipsed 30-points in eight of their 12 appearances.

Again, Colorado is 0-4 SU in its four bowl games since 2004. Two decades without a postseason win is history Deion Sanders is looking to change as he etches his legacy in the Buffs football program.

There's no doubt in my mind that this game wil be explosive, especially with Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter stepping on the field for the last time together. Colorado is averaging 348 YPG in its last three outings, ranking in the top-10 in the nation, with its last appearance a 52-0 blowout over Oklahoma State.

We've seen Colorado's defense show signs of weakness and I could argue the same for BYU in the latter half of the season. Neither defense is sparkling. I'm calling for the point total to be obliterated, easily.

BYU Vs Colorado Pick: OVER 54.5 (-110)

BYU Vs Colorado News

Perhaps the most notable news to come out ahead of the Alamo Bowl is that Deion Sanders has repeated his top players will be participating in this postseason matchup. Yes, that includes Heisman Trophy winner, Travis Hunter, and highly projected upcoming draft pick, Shedeur Sanders.

With concerns of their participation in a non-playoff bowl game circling, Coach Prime reassured he has ensured to get disability insurance to protect his players. The insurance promises the players get top notch care and response in the event of an injury.

BYU Vs Colorado Prop Bet: Travis Hunter Anytime TD

While odds are yet ti be released, you know I'm going to hammering Travis Hunter to hit the endzone. Fresh off hoisting the Heisman Trophy and in his last college football game, Hunter will be hanging up his Buffs jersey with a bang -- in true Travis fashion, of course. The connection between Hunter and Sanders has been special to watch, I just know the two will showcase it one final time. The end of an era.
