Nevada vs Boise State Odds & Picks Week 11: Be Safe & Bet The OVER

The No. 12 Boise State Broncos are piping hot, riding a six-game streak where they've crowded 276 total points. Undefeated at Albertsons Stadium, the Broncos host their southern neighbors as the Nevada Wolfpack travel to Idaho as massive 24.5-point underdogs at FanDuel.

Boise State can make a serious case for a College Football Playoff berth. But, that counts on Spencer Danielson continuing to add to his win column as the regular season fizzles out.

Nevada vs Boise State Picks – Week 11

Though we have witnessed some astonishing upsets this college football season, I don't think Boise State will fumble this one outright. Moneyline prices aren't worth it, so can we trust the Broncos with the weight of this spread?

I would argue yes. Maddux Madsen led his group to covering last week's 24-point line over San Diego State, going 4-0-1 ATS across their last five games. However, the Broncos defense does have some weak points, allowing a middling 377 yards per game. Meanwhile, Nevada has sufficiently averaged 25.6 points per game in the second half of the season despite going 1-4 SU since Week 6.

The OVER has gone 5-1 in the Wolf Pack's last six while the Broncos have also cashed the OVER in six of their eight appearances this season. With Nevada simply playing for the bragging rights of dethroning Boise State and the Broncos fighting for an unexpected position in the playoffs, I'm taking the OVER as a safer play this week.

Nevada vs Boise State News

Ashton Jeanty has been putting up mind-blowing numbers all season and last week's 149 yard, two touchdown performance against San Diego State was no different. Except...

The junior is clearly managing a left arm injury. Despite the noticeable brace, Jeanty continues piling up elite numbers. Spencer Danielson referred to him as a "warrior", acknowledging the obvious that his star running back is playing through an injury. There's still no confirmation whether the injury is severe enough to warrant genuine concern.
