Michel's Take: The series is now headed to Edmonton after the Oilers got that vital road split in Dallas. I'm taking the Oilers on the moneyline tonight.
Playing at home after a loss in the playoffs, Edmonton is 2-0 SU (they're also 2-0 vs the OVER for you total bettors). Since Kris Knoblauch took over behind the bench, the Oilers are a phenomenal 31-10SU on home ice (76%).
PS: When the Oilers are at least -130 favorites at home in the regular season - like they are tonight- they've gone 26-11 (70%) and held a solid +6.8% return on investment.
The Oilers should have taken Game 2. They led the xG battle at 3.47 to Dallas's 2.74. It was Edmonton's shooting which was a pathetic 1-for-29 (3.45%) that let them down. Edmonton had the seventh-highest home-shooting percentage in the league this season at 11.67%. The issue that lost them Game 2 shouldn't exist in Game 3.
