NBA Player Props for December 18, 2025
Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander UNDER 4.5 Rebounds vs. Clippers (-125 at FanDuel)
Isaiah Hartenstein (OUT Thursday for rest) is the Thunder's leading rebounder at 10.6 per contest, but during the six games in which he's been unable to play, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander only toppled a rebounds prop of 4.5 once across the five appearances he made. The Canadian superstar has failed to topple this mark each of the last five times he's battled the Los Angeles Clippers, as well, and the possibility looms of him sitting in the fourth quarter once again of a probable blowout at home. Gilgeous-Alexander is currently averaging his fewest rebounds since his rookie campaign at 4.6, and the Clippers do rank 10th in the Association in rebounds allowed at 42.5.
Nuggets' Jonas Valanciunas OVER 7.5 Points vs. Magic (-122 at FanDuel)
Denver Nuggets backup center Jonas Valanciunas is currently in the midst of a seven-game OVER streak at 7.5 points, despite the fact that he has yet to play 20 or more minutes in a single game this season. He's averaging 9.3 points on just under 70 percent shooting from the field during this stretch, and his services will be required on Thursday against an Orlando Magic team that rolls deep with interior size, with both Goga Bitadze (6-foot-11) and Jonathan Isaac (6-foot-10) playing substantial minutes coming off the bench. Both Peyton Watson and Tim Hardaway Jr. are listed as questionable for Denver, as well, and should both be ruled out, perhaps Valanciunas will see even more playing time as a result.
NBA Player Props for December 17, 2025
Cavaliers' Jaylon Tyson OVER 20.5 Points + Rebounds vs. Bulls (-103 at Draft Kings)
Jaylon Tyson has reached an OVER on 20.5 combined points and rebounds in 12 of his 22 appearances this season for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Of the 10 times in which he fell short, four came in the first four games when he was averaging just 21.5 minutes compared to the 30.5 he's played over his last 11 appearances. During those 11 games, the 23-year-old shooting guard has produced 15.2 points and 7.2 rebounds with eight OVERs in this market, including six in the last seven games. He registered 17 points and seven boards the last time these two teams squared off, and while he did move to the second unit against the Charlotte Hornets over the weekend, Tyson still saw 35 minutes of action en route to a double-double of 16 points and 13 boards, which was the most he'd played all season.
Timberwolves' Rudy Gobert OVER 11.5 Rebounds vs. Grizzlies (-102 at FanDuel)
Wednesday will be the third game in a row that Zach Edey will miss for the Memphis Grizzlies as he deals with an ankle injury, and in the two prior games without the behemoth in the middle, Memphis has allowed opposing centers to feast on the glass. Ivica Zubac grabbed 13 boards in 33 minutes for the Los Angeles Clippers against Memphis on Monday, and Jusuf Nurkic had 17 for the Utah Jazz on Dec. 12. Rudy Gobert should be the next man to take advantage of the Grizzlies' lack of size, extending his personal streak of games with 12 or more rebounds to three in the process. The Stifle Tower has gone OVER this number in four of his last six appearances for the Minnesota Timberwolves, as well.
Grizzlies' Santi Aldama UNDER 25.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists vs. Timberwolves (-115 at BetMGM)
Santi Aldama was reinserted into the Grizzlies' starting lineup for Monday's tilt with the Clippers, but only finished with three points, two rebounds, and two assists in 30 minutes. That served as the fifth-straight road game in which he finished below a PRA prop of 25.5. In fact, of the 13 road games Aldama has played this season, he's only gone OVER this number three different times. He's scored seven or fewer points in four of his last six outings, as well, with similar output all but guaranteeing yet another UNDER with Minnesota holding opponents to just 110.4 points per 100 possessions at the Target Center (8th).
Prop Professor EV Bet: Matas Buzelis UNDER 1.5 Blocks (-165)
According to Prop Professor's projections, the Matas Buzelis blocks market at BetMGM shows a +4.9% expected value edge. While the 21-year-old rookie has emerged as Chicago's shot-blocking leader this season with 57 total blocks through 24 games (averaging approximately 2.4 blocks per game), his recent performance trends suggest regression toward a lower median. Buzelis has gone UNDER this total in four of his last five contests.
Tonight against Cleveland, the Cavaliers' perimeter-heavy offensive attack and skilled ball movement may limit Buzelis' rim protection opportunities, and staying under 1.5 blocks.
