DraftKings Sportsbook Weaknesses
- Weak MMA Props
It's common for only moneylines and over/under (O/U) fight rounds to be offered in the days leading up to a UFC fight. DraftKings could improve by offering its UFC props several days before a fight.
- eSports games
While we commend DraftKings for offering wagers on eSports in the first place (many sportsbooks don't), the selection could improve. For instance, we'd love to see odds for Crossfire or Mobile Legends.
- No Credit Card Deposits
As of August 25, 2025 DraftKings sportsbook and casino will no longer be accepting Credit Card deposits in the United States.
- Overwhelming for Some
DraftKings offers a large selection of sports and wager types. For vanilla old school bettors, or people who get overwhelmed easily, the large swatch of options could be intimidating.
DraftKings Sportsbook App & Features
With its reliability and unique features, DraftKings' app is arguably the best in the industry. Whether you want to research games, place bets, explore daily fantasy offerings, or connect with others, this app is your one-stop shop.
The "Stats Hub" tab (located at the top of the app when you scroll left on the features in grey font) includes data that both new and seasoned bettors appreciate. Injury updates, line movement, and betting trends for teams and players are easily found. For instance, you can see how often each team has covered a 6-point teaser leg or which NBA players have been the most profitable on particular player props.
The Rewards tab in the bottom-right corner of the DraftKings app shows you the latest promotions and awards available to you. You can also use this tab to see how many crowns you have, and when you reach 55, you can redeem them for DK Dollars. Don't forget to "opt-in" to promotions. Bonuses are constantly being updated, but staples include same-game parlays (losing bet credited back as a bonus) and odds boosts on featured games.
The search bar near the top of the app helps you find wagers quickly. For instance, you can type "Scheffler" for all of Scottie Scheffler's props instead of digging through all of the DK golf odds.
DraftKings vs Competitors
As you can see, DraftKings stacks up well against other sportsbooks, though it lacks 24/7 phone support.
Professional bettors will tell you that it's in your best interests to have multiple sportsbooks in your repertoire. This allows you to price shop the same games at different books to ensure you're getting the best deal possible. Sometimes you'll find betting markets or promotions that are only available at one betting site, so signing up for multiple books allows bettors to be more agile.

DraftKings Sportsbook Review: Live Betting
Simply put, DraftKings' live betting is damn good. The platform is friendly for beginners, and the live-betting prices are as fair as you'll see in the industry. The ability to create live SGPs is becoming a popular feature for sportsbooks these days, and DraftKings doesn't disappoint. Don't be surprised to see dozens of in-game options for the game you're betting.
Tennis fans will appreciate that you get to bet live on who will win a specific point (i.e. Set 4, Game 1, Point 3) or wager on the exact final score. Soccer bettors can bet on Asian handicaps and "both teams to score" live markets. If you like to bet on more obscure sports like cricket and table tennis, don't worry, those have live odds available too.
DraftKings Sportsbook Review: Live Streaming
Since the spring of 2023, DraftKings has had its own streaming network, which offers perspectives from talking heads while there's nothing to bet on. You'll probably recognize signature shows like "The Ross Tucker Football Podcast" and "Gojo and Golic."
In the past, DraftKings has offered live streaming of MLB games and other sports, but the focus seems to have shifted more toward live streaming of sports betting content rather than actual games.
DraftKings Sportsbook Odds & Markets
DraftKings odds are available for popular sports like the NFL and niche sports like handball. Within each sport, the DraftKings markets are robust and often feature odds for markets you won't find at other sportsbooks.
Obviously, there isn't one sportsbook that has better odds than every other sportsbook in each sport, so we always advise shopping around. However, there are many times, especially in niche prop markets, where DraftKings is the best deal in town. DraftKings' live betting and pre-game odds are consistently competitive.

The number of betting options at DraftKings is overwhelming in a good way. For instance, shortly after the Super Bowl, DraftKings already has a full range of NFL props for the following season. That means you can wager on the most interceptions or touchdowns thrown by a quarterback, or if the longest field goal of the season will be O/U 64.5 yards.
For virtually any sport, you can bet on "futures" markets for which team will win the championship, but there are also extensive awards markets and creative props, too.
Safety and Security: Is DraftKings Legit?
DraftKings has entrenched itself as one of the premier brands in sports betting. Of course, DraftKings is regulated in each state it operates, and thus bettors can wager with confidence. DraftKings sends U.S. users appropriate tax forms and has a robust FAQ section related to IRS requirements. Customers in the U.S. or Canada can request a statement of wins/losses for a particular year.

Thanks to DraftKings' "My Budget Builder" feature, which is prominently displayed on the app, you can set limits and gamble responsibly. Limits can be established based on how much you deposit (per day/week/month), how much you bet on a single wager (or over time), and how much time you spend (hours per day).
