How To Watch UFC 307: Pereira vs Rountree

  • Location: Salt Lake City, Utah
  • Arena: Vivint Arena
  • Where to Watch: ESPN+, PPV

UFC 307 Best Bet: Pereira By KO + UNDER 2.5 Rounds

I hate to play it basic, as Khalil is a live 'dog, but I've bet against Poatan before and he has shut me out. Rountree is an experienced Muay Thai artist with insane power, but his strength is brute, whereas Alex hits with a touch of death — an unmatched combo of speed and sizzle.

While Pereira might have to weather a few clinches or rushes from the challenger, the result will be the same. I'm betting Pereira by KO and parlaying that with the UNDER 2.5 rounds. The Brazilian must get it done quick to avoid damage.

UFC 307: My Fight of the Night — Stephen Thompson vs Joaquin Buckley

What I love most about Thompson is that he is a good sport, even in his elder state. "Wonderboy" shows up and shows out, fighting with all his heart and gunning for the finish when possible. He's no longer a striking wizard, but Thompson's matchup with Buckley is very interesting.

Buckley is dynamic, too, but he favors power more than speed, whereas Thompson is the opposite, relying on his quickness. I predict this fight goes the full 15 minutes but not without some thrilling back and forth and a knockdown or two. This will be a great brawl.
