The UFC London events always bring out a ruckus hometown crowd and some sharp finishes. That's why I've built out my UFC London parlays for this fine card on March 22.
I'll ride with Sean Brady to defeat Leon Edwards in the main event. Beyond that, I'll build out some fair parlays involving fight outcomes and rounds to boost my bankroll.
UFC London Parlay: Take It Slow (+147)
- Charriere vs Wood Goes The Distance (-225)
- Ulberg vs Blachowicz OVER 1.5 Rounds (-260)
- Brady vs Edwards OVER 2.5 Rounds (-425)
This is how I'm easing into the UFC London parlay market. Morgan Charriere vs Nathaniel Wood should be a banger of a featherweight bout, albeit one that goes the distance. Both these guys are fast, fierce, and very durable, capable of recovering from a knockdown and pivoting to a wrestling attack, for example. That'll hold well in a back-and-forth fight destined for a full 15 minutes.
Jan Blachowicz is known for his durability, having suffered only one career knockout loss in 2022, and he’s likely to incorporate several takedown attempts in his fight vs Carlos Ulberg. That lends itself to the OVER.
Lastly, Sean Brady has a healthy mix of submissions, but Leon Edwards represents his toughest career test. Edwards is by no means a proven finisher, so the OVER 2.5 rounds, even at -425, makes sense to me.
UFC London Parlay: Brawler's Bet (+115)
- Jordan Vucenic ML (-400)
- Gunnar Nelson ML (-138)
Vucenic fought very well in his UFC debut vs Guram Gutateladze, fending off most of Guram's wrestling and inflicting some serious damage. While some in-fight decisions cost him the Guram fight, Vucenic is still fast and powerful at 155 pounds. He's worth the -400 price.
The Nelson vs Kevin Holland fight is polarizing. You're either a believer in Holland's will (and sometimes competent grappling ability) or you expect Nelson to out-grapple him for 15 minutes or less. Of course, Nelson has also been very inactive over the last few years. I don't buy that the impressive Iceland native is out of shape at 36 years old, and I think his lateral movement will help him survive Holland's striking advances and work to a clinch exchange.
