The 2025 UFL season is back and, I’ve got expert picks for game lines and player props to help you make the most of the action!
For Week 3, I’m taking the Birmingham Stallions (-3.5) after their solid bounce-back performance against the Panthers. For the Houston Roughnecks vs. Memphis Showboats, I’m going with the UNDER 36.5 points, as both teams are winless and struggling offensively. Finally, I’m backing the Battlehawks (-6.5), as St. Louis has the edge over DC in every aspect, even with both teams undefeated.
Season Record:
Josie: 4-1 (+2.73 Units)
UFL Weekly Picks
arlington renegades vs birmingham stallions (-3.5) (-115) At Sportsbook
The Arlington Renegades are off to a strong 2-0 start, powered by veteran quarterback Luis Perez, who leads the league with 375 passing yards. Offensively, the Renegades have been dominant, recording 100 more yards than their opponents in each game. On the defensive side, they've been just as impressive, holding opponents nine points in both meetings.
The defending champion Birmingham Stallions are 1-1 after a shaky start to the season. In Week 2, the Stallions bounced back with a strong defensive performance, allowing Michigan just two red zone opportunities. Starting quarterback Alex McGough went down on the first play, but that could be a benefit in disguise after he struggled in Week 1, throwing for just 89 yards.
With the Renegades only scraping up 11 points last week and the Stallions treading in a better direction, I'll lay the points with them.
houston roughnecks vs Memphis showboats UNDER 36.5 Points (-110) At Sportsbook
Two of the league's remaining three winless teams square off Saturday afternoon. The Houston Roughnecks have been a mess across the board, ranking dead last in scoring (7.5 PPG), passing yards (102.5 YPG), and rushing yards (78.5 YPG). Defensively they are also giving up the second-most points in the league (19.5 PPG). Like I said, a disaster in every direction.
The Memphis Showboats also have a deserted win column but at least have been more productive offensively, ranking fourth in total offense (277.5 YPG), but they’ve yet to score more than two touchdowns in a game, and Houston still hasn’t cracked double digits.
Memphis should get the win here thanks to at least one element to its game figured out. But, I don't trust them with 4.5 points. This is a recipe for the UNDER.
DC Defenders vs St. louis battlehawks (-6.5) (-110) At Sportsbook
Unlike our winless teams above, the Defenders and Battlehawks are protecting their perfect records. Where DC is strong offensively, averaging 277.5 total yards per game and 17.5 points. But, St. Louis is just a tad better recording 388.5 YPG while posting 28.5 PPG. Not to mention they're the better defense on paper too by allowing 7.5 PPG and less than 200 yards. Mix in the home field advantage and there's no reason not to take the Battlehawks here.
