MLB Player Prop Picks Today: Back A Big Devers Day

I'm back with two MLB player prop picks today!

These are my first props of the week, so let's start of with some MLB player prop winners. I'm focusing on Rafael Devers of the Red Sox, as he OWNS O's starter Zach Eflin.

Here are my two MLB player prop picks today with breakdowns:

MLB Prop Pick Today: Rafael Devers OVER 1.5 Total Bases (+105)

Orioles vs Red Sox Odds - Game Time: 6:35 pm ET

Rafael Devers deserves more hype than he’s getting. The Red Sox 3B is hitting .299 on the season with a .965 OPS. He’s had OVER 1.5 total bases in 10 of his last 15 games.

The Boston slugger also has a clear edge over Baltimore's Zach Eflin tonight. Devers has six hits (five for extra bases) off Eflin in 13 career at-bats. That’s good for a .462 average and 1.615 OPS.

In his last three games against Baltimore, Devers has five hits and seven total bases.

MLB Prop Pick Today: Zack Wheeler OVER 18.5 Total Outs (-120)

Phillies vs Nationals Odds - Game Time: 6:41 pm ET

This 18.5 outs line is acting as if Wheeler is going to pitch MORE than six innings.

Wheeler has gone 6.1 or more in six of his last 11 outings, which isn’t great for these odds. But, I don’t think we should look too much into Wheeler’s recent game logs. He’s faced five-straight teams in or around the playoff picture and (as you'd expect) carves against bad teams like Washington.

The Phillies starter is specifically great against the Nationals. He holds current Washington hitters to a .212 combined average and .618 OPS. He’s pitched at least seven innings in his last two starts against the Nats.
