NBA Finals 2024: Best Boston Celtics Series Player Props

Sportsbooks have gone wild for the 2024 NBA Finals, introducing a ton of series long player props for bettors to feast on. After my friend Chris Walder covered the Dallas Mavericks side of things, I'm diving into the best Boston Celtics NBA Finals player props on the board.

Let's jump into all the odds before Celtics vs Mavericks tips off on Thursday June 6, 2024.

Jaylen Brown to Score 20+ Points in Every Game this Series (+165)

This is one of my favorite plays on the NBA odds board.

Jaylen Brown has been spectacular during the 2024 NBA Playoffs. The Cal product went crazy against Indiana in the Eastern Conference Finals, averaging 29.8 points per game while shooting 51.7% from the field and 37% from three. He's put up at least 20 points in each of the last seven Celtics games that haven't been blowouts, and looks poised to make the NBA Finals his own.

With the Mavericks bound to focus on shutting down Jayson Tatum, and likely sending help his way, expect Brown to once again eat versus single coverage. The Eastern Conference Finals MVP has been cooking, bet him while he's hot. I love Jaylen Brown to score 20+ points in every game this series as our first NBA Finals series player prop play.

Derrick White Dallas vs Boston Most Total Made 3's (+330)

Derrick White has been lighting it up from deep in these playoffs, knocking down 40.7% of three-pointers.

He's nailed 3.4 a game, on 8.4 attempts and has both the volume and shooting stroke to lead this series in total made threes.

Luka Doncic, who's favored in this prop at +110 odds, has made the same amount of threes per game while shooting just 34% from beyond the arc. I like the Celtics defense to bother him just enough for White to come out on top with the most total made threes here. Boston can send White himself and Jrue Holiday - who both made second-team All-Defense this season, as well as Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum to bother the Slovenian throughout the series.

I like Derrick White to become a huge x factor as this series rolls along and love the value on his NBA Finals player props.

Jayson Tatum UNDER 27.5 Points Per Game in NBA Finals (-128)

While I think the Celtics win this series for fun, I don't believe Jayson Tatum needs to light up the scoreboard in order for Boston to do so.

Joe Mazzulla's team is so good, they don't require their star player to score 30+ points a night to stay in the game the way Dallas will. Boston's entire 76-20 regular and postseason has featured a concerted effort of Tatum, Brown, White, Porzingis, Holiday and even Al Horford sharing the offensive load on any given night. Plus, the Celtics have dangerous three-point sniper Payton Pritchard coming off the bench.

Tatum has averaged 26 points per game this postseason, on just 44.2% shooting from the field. Even worse, he's knocked down only 29% of shots from three, and it hasn't mattered. Boston has decimated the competition in spite of these numbers.

The Duke product has been much better at moving the basketball and figuring out where the open man is, as evidenced by his assists per game rising to 5.9 in the playoffs. He'll need to continue to play facilitator in order to win this series. Tatum simply needs to play within the team game, and has no reason to force anything to win his first NBA Championship. I love the UNDER 27.5 on Jayson Tatum's points per game.
