Warriors Offense Stays Hot Against Timberwolves
The Warriors earned their third straight win on Sunday, defeating the Minnesota Timberwolves 137-114. Steph Curry had 25 points and 11 rebounds for a double-double while five other Warriors finished with more than 10 points. Anthony Edwards led the Timberwolves with 26 points.
After a sluggish start to the season, Golden State has started to flex its offensive muscle over the last few weeks. The Warriors are averaging 118.1 points through their last 11 contests while winning eight of those games. Defense has been an issue for the Dubs, who rank 28th in the NBA in points against per game (117.3), but they’ve been able to outscore their problems of late.
Mavericks Drop Fourth Straight Game Against Bucks
The Mavericks suffered their fourth consecutive loss on Sunday as they fell 124-115 to the Milwaukee Bucks. Giannis Antetokounmpo (30 points, 11 rebounds) had a monster game for the Bucks while Luka Doncic (27 points, 12 assists) had a double-double of his own for the Mavericks.
Dallas has struggled to score during its current four-game slide, averaging just 106 points per contest. That’s even worse than their already low mark on the season (109.1), which ranks 26th in the NBA. If the Mavericks have one saving grace, it’s that their defense has been elite at 107.3 points against per game, third-best in the league. They’ve basically been the mirror opposite of the Warriors.
Warriors Player Prop: Curry OVER 27.5 Points (-110)
Curry has been up and down in November but is still averaging 31.6 points this month thanks to a few huge performances. Hitting the OVER on 27.5 points is certainly not out of reach for the Warriors star, though a tough Dallas defense may make it tricky.
Mavericks Player Prop: Doncic OVER 32.5 Points (-105)
Doncic has scored 27 or less in three of his last four outings, but he has recorded 33-plus on seven occasions this month. Going up against one of the weakest defenses in the NBA, he should be able to clear the OVER on 32.5 points.
Warriors: Keys To Win
The Dubs own one of the best and deepest offenses in the league and they’ll have to demonstrate that on Tuesday to top the defensively sound Mavs. If Andrew Wiggins, Klay Thompson and Jordan Poole can all help Curry out offensively, they should be able to keep their win streak alive.
Mavericks: Keys To Win
While Doncic has been phenomenal, it’s clear that he isn’t able to carry this Mavericks team on his own offensively. That said, Dallas’ best shot at taking this one is to lock down like they have been all season. If they can find a way to either slow down Curry or contain Golden State’s depth, they’ll have a shot.
