Atlanta Hawks vs. New York Knicks Expert Picks

Atlanta Hawks ATS +7 (-112), New York Knicks ML (-275)

The Hawks have won each of their last three road games against formidable competition (for the most part), defeating the Milwaukee Bucks, Charlotte Hornets, and Cleveland Cavaliers to get back to .500 away from State Farm Arena at 6-6 SU. They're also 6-6 in covering the spread on the road, as well, but have just three covers in their last seven attempts.

New York is 5-2 SU this season at home when favored by seven or more points, but just 3-3-1 against the spread. It just had its six-game home winning streak SU and four-game cover streak snapped at the hands of the Detroit Pistons on December 7.

Atlanta has won three of its last four road games versus the Knicks in the regular season dating back to the 2021-22 season, and took two of three at MSG during the first round of the 2020-21 playoffs, including Game 5 to advance. We've seen the Hawks prevail in high pressure situations in this particular matchup, but as we'll come to see on Wednesday, good fortune can't work in their favor all of the time.

The visitors should keep the score close and cover with a generous seven-point spread, but the Knicks are in their backyard are are just a bit hotter at the moment to warrant leaning their way on the moneyline.

OVER 237 Total Points (-110)

A 237 combined point total is the highest for any game between Atlanta and New York, including the postseason, since Odds Shark's database began recording this particular pairing in 2017.

The two teams have gone OVER in four-straight matchups and five of their last six, and both sides currently rank in the top 10 in hitting OVERs, with the Hawks sitting second overall at 17-8.

Atlanta Hawks vs. New York Knicks Player Prop

O.G. Anunoby OVER 2.5 Made 3-Pointers (+126)

While he hasn't connected on more than two triples over his last two games, there's still a ton of faith and optimism in O.G. Anunoby to make three or more against an Atlanta defense which continues to rank dead last in opponent's 3-pointers made, allowed, and efficiency.

Anunoby drilled three of his eight attempts back on Nov. 6, and while he's only shooting 25.6 percent from deep over his last seven games, the 27-year-old forward is still taking a healthy 6.1 shots (second on Knicks) during that span, and nothing cures a cold streak quite like facing the Hawks.

Atlanta Hawks vs. New York Knicks Betting Trends
