Sportsbook Odds Analysis

Houston News & Notes
Defense has been optional for the Rockets this season. Houston has given up a staggering 121.8 points per game, ranking 28th in the NBA this season after ranking 10th in the league last year allowing 109.1 points per game. But since getting out to a 3-3 SU and 0-6 ATS start, Houston is 2-0 SU and ATS over its last two games.
The James Harden and Russell Westbrook experiment seems to be working, at least in the offensive zone. Harden’s production has not dipped as he is averaging 36.5 points and 8.1 assists per game while Westbrook is averaging a respectable 20.7 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 8.7 assists per game.
Chicago Bulls News & Notes
The Bulls didn’t look sharp at all across a 1-4 SU and ATS start to the season. But they’ve been more competitive in the month of November with a 2-2 SU and 3-1 ATS run, picking up an impressive 113-93 win over the Atlanta Hawks on the second night of a back-to-back last Wednesday. After playing three games in four nights earlier this week, Chicago should be nice and rested coming off of a two-day break for this one.
Chicago is looking for more depth on offense with only 106.7 points per game this year, good for 22nd in the NBA. Zach LaVine is leading the way with 20.4 PPG.
Betting Pick: Houston -6.5
Allowing an average of 106 points per game over its last two games, the Rockets are at least trending in the right direction on defense. And if this game ends up being a shootout as almost all of Houston’s are, Chicago probably doesn’t have the firepower to keep up.
