Bucks Fall To Short-Handed Grizzlies

Milwaukee was beat handily on Saturday, falling 127-102 to the Memphis Grizzlies, who were without Ja Morant. De’Anthony Melton led Memphis with 24 points while Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 30 points and added 11 rebounds for Milwaukee.

Although it was a poor effort and a deflating loss for the Bucks, you’ve got to keep in mind that they’ve lost just three games over their last 13 contests. Antetokounmpo, who was listed as questionable for Saturday’s game, tried to will Milwaukee to victory but the Bucks fell short offensively without Jrue Holiday, who was out with ankle soreness.

Antetokounmpo (knee), Holiday (ankle) and Serge Ibaka (illness) are probable for Tuesday’s matchup.

Sixers’ Win Streak Snapped By NBA-Leading Suns

Philadelphia had its three-game win streak snapped Sunday, losing 114-104 to the Phoenix Suns, who got 35 points from Devin Booker to post their eighth straight victory. Joel Embiid had 37 points and 15 boards to lead all players while James Harden scored just 14 for Philadelphia while shooting 2-for-11 from the field.

The 76ers have cooled off a bit recently, going 6-4 over their last 10 outings, but they remain one of the hottest teams in the NBA since the trade deadline with a record of 14-6 over that span. If the Sixers can keep their momentum rolling through the final few weeks of the season, they have a real shot at claiming the top spot in the East.

Bucks vs 76ers Pick & Insights

Bucks: Keys To Cover

The Bucks came out flat against the Grizzlies but they’ll hope to be a bit fresher on Tuesday with Holiday likely to make his return. Prior to the loss, Milwaukee had averaged 122.2 points per game over its previous five outings – if the Bucks can get big games from Antetokounmpo, Middleton and Holiday, they could run up the score again.

76ers: Keys To Cover

The Sixers’ sixth-ranked defense (106.6 points against per game) has been stellar all season and it’ll need to be great on Tuesday to contain a powerful Bucks offense. Embiid should be a lock for about 30 points but they’ll want to see more out of Harden, who’s posted fewer than 20 points in two of his last four games.
