Knicks vs Heat Odds & Analysis
Sportsbook Odds
The conference-leading Heat opened as a huge 10-point favorite but the number fell considerably with the questionable status of several Miami players, including Jimmy Butler and Tyler Herro. The total was set at 216 points; the OVER is 4-2 in Miami’s last six outings and 11-5 in New York’s last 16. Miami has historically dominated this matchup, winning nine of the last 10 meetings while going 8-2 ATS over that span – a strong nod to the hosts for your Knicks vs Heat prediction.

Barrett Impresses Again In Win Over Charlotte
The Knicks came out strong in their last outing as they defeated the Charlotte Hornets 121-106 on Wednesday. RJ Barrett led the charge with 30 points, Obi Toppin (18 points, 11 rebounds) posted a double-double and five other players finished in double figures for New York.
With just 11 contests remaining on the schedule and sitting five games back of the Atlanta Hawks for 10th place in the East, New York’s play-in hopes are all but dead. It’s not all bad news for the Knicks, though, as Barrett in particular has progressed nicely this season, giving the team and fans something to believe in moving forward. The third-year guard is averaging nearly 20 points per game on the season and almost 24 per game since January 1.
Julius Randle (quad) and Mitchell Robinson (back) are questionable for Friday while Nerlens Noel (foot) is out.
Heat Fall To Short-Handed Warriors
The Heat came up short against an undermanned Golden State Warriors squad on Wednesday, falling 118-104. Jordan Poole scorched Miami for 30 points on a night when the Warriors were without Steph Curry and Klay Thompson. Kyle Lowry (26 points), Bam Adebayo (25 points) and Jimmy Butler (20 points) each scored 20-plus in the loss.
Other than the disappointing loss, what will be remembered from Wednesday’s game was a second-half scuffle on the Miami bench. During a 19-0 run for Golden State, Butler exchanged heated words with head coach Erik Spoelstra as well as Udonis Haslem, with Butler eventually having to be held back by teammates. The tiff actually sparked the Heat to a 19-6 run of their own, though they obviously fell short in the end.
Butler (ankle), Tyler Herro (knee), Duncan Robinson (Achilles), PJ Tucker (knee) and Caleb Martin (knee) are all questionable while Victor Oladipo (knee) and Gabe Vincent (toe) are out.
Knicks vs Heat Pick & Insights
Knicks: Keys To Cover
New York has been up and down over its last few games – though you could say that about the Knicks’ season as a whole. They’ve scored 120-plus in two of their last three wins while losing to the streaking Brooklyn Nets and the Memphis Grizzlies by just three and four points, respectively. If Barrett can drop 30-plus and the rest of the offense comes to play, the Knicks could keep this one close.
Heat: Keys To Cover
Miami has a ton of question marks on the injury front that could determine how this game goes. A healthy Heat team likely rolls right through the Knicks, but if they are missing Butler and Herro, they’ll need other guys to step up. Lowry is averaging 23 points and 7.5 assists over his last two outings – Miami needs more of that from its starting point guard.
