Warriors are 1-6 ATS in Their Last 7, Curry Still Out
Since losing Steph Curry to injury against the Milwaukee Bucks, the Golden State Warriors have been in a tailspin, going 2-5 SU and 1-6 ATS without him in the lineup. Throw a little beef between Kevin Durant and Draymond Green into the mix, and you’ve got a very combustible situation in Oakland. The Warriors opened as a 1-point favorite against the Oklahoma City Thunder tonight with the Sportsbook total at 220.

Golden State Has Been Tough To Watch
Let’s call it what it is, the Golden State Warriors have been painful to watch for the last couple of weeks and even more painful to bet on. The Warriors look to be completely lost without Curry in the lineup. They’ll also be without Draymond Green tonight and KD doesn’t look like he’s in a good head space at all, most recently being fined by the league for a verbal assault on a fan.
As if dropping 25 stacks wasn’t enough, he’s now gotta focus on stopping Russell Westbrook and Paul George without two of the Warriors’ superstars to help them out. Curry is the team’s leading scorer while Green is the team’s leading rebounder. Tough positions to fill.
The Thunder Rolls
After a mediocre start to the season, OKC is 8-2 SU and ATS in November. Westbrook and George are both averaging over 24 points per game while big man Steven Adams is averaging a double-double while playing just under 34 minutes a night through his 15 games. Adams’ 61.6 field-goal percentage is No. 8 in the league.
OKC has played an all-around game, putting together the No. 6 scoring defense in the NBA at 106.25 points against, including an opponents’ three-point percentage of 33.5. The Thunder lead the league in forcing turnovers – they’re taking the ball back from opponents an average of 17.5 times per game.
My Bet for Tonight
The Warriors will put it back together and we will all forget about this slide in the new year, but they aren’t going to come out of this tonight. These are two teams trending in opposite directions at this point and without Curry and Green and with KD contributing at less than 100 percent, the Warriors are not a smart bet tonight.
I’ll be backing OKC on the moneyline tonight. Russell Westbrook looked unbelievable playing through some injuries against Sacramento, dropping 29 points and four three-pointers. George was just as good with 27 points and four three-pointers himself.
