It's a small slate of just four NBA games on Thursday, November 21, but limited action shouldn't deter bettors from seeking out player props even with fewer options available at your disposal.
Here are three player props to consider betting on, including one for the reigning Defensive Player of the Year to put up big numbers both offensively and on the glass north of the border at -105.
Rudy Gobert To Record A Double-Double vs. Raptors (-105)
The Minnesota Timberwolves are one of the weaker rebounding teams in basketball, ranking 26th in the Association at just 40.6 per game. Rudy Gobert's numbers in that department certainly haven't been stifled as a result, as he's currently averaging double-digit boards for the 10th year in a row, although his 10.4 rebounds are his fewest since his sophomore season with the Utah Jazz.
The 7-foot Frenchman has six double-doubles on the campaign, three of which have come in the last three games. Gobert had one earlier in the season when Toronto served as the visitors, finishing with 15 points and 12 rebounds in 39 minutes of action.
Tobias Harris, Jayson Tatum, and Pascal Siakam have all finished with double-digit points and rebounds against the Toronto Raptors over their last three outings, and Gobert should be next in line to do so.
Collin Sexton OVER 1.5 Made 3-Pointers vs. Spurs (+104)
This is the second time this season I've wagered on a Collin Sexton 3-point prop, and with oddsmakers putting an OVER on 1.5 makes at plus money, I'll be doing so again with the utmost confidence.
Sexton has gone five-straight games converting two or more 3-pointers, and has done so in eight of his 14 total appearances. His 51.9 3-point percentage during this stretch is best on the Jazz, as well, needing just 5.4 attempts per game to reach the OVER on this prop.
The last time we leaned on Sexton to drill long-range shots, he made two in the first quarter alone and reduced our anxiety almost immediately. I won't suggest he'll hit two early here, but it's a reasonable bet considering the current streak he's on.
Grant Williams OVER 5.5 Rebounds vs. Pistons (-120)
This is easily the least sexy bet of the evening, but one that should still get nailed.
Grant Williams of the Charlotte Hornets has grabbed seven or more rebounds in three-straight games, ranking second on the roster in this department during that span at 7.7 per game. It's also his longest streak of the young season securing at least that many boards.
All Williams will need is six rebounds against the Detroit Pistons, who are one of the better rebounding teams ranking fourth overall at 47.5 per game, although the Hornets are right behind at sixth with 46.1.
