Raptors vs Warriors Betting Preview

The Toronto Raptors (22-27 SU, 25-24 ATS) look to extend their current against the spread win streak to a season-high four games when they visit the slumping Golden State Warriors (24-24, 22-25-1) in Friday NBA action.

The Raptors have tallied two straight outright wins, including Wednesday’s impressive 113-95 victory in  Sacramento to kick off a seven-game road trip, and are also 3-1 ATS in their past four outings as betting underdogs.

The Warriors aim to record consecutive straight-up wins for the first time in almost four weeks after eking out a 122-120 victory over the visiting Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday. In addition to their 126-110 win in Toronto on December 18, the Warriors have also taken two straight from the Raptors on their home court but have not swept a season series with Toronto since 2018.

Latest Betting Notes: Raptors

Riding high after knocking off the Kings on Wednesday night, the Raptors are seeking back-to-back wins on the road for just the second time since early November. Pascal Siakam extended his stretch of steady play with a game-high 26 points to go along with 11 rebounds, and has averaged 26.3 points and recorded two double-doubles over his past three outings.

Fred VanVleet took a step back in Wednesday’s win, compiling just 17 points while going 2-for-9 from three-point territory and 7-for-19 overall. The focus of trade speculation, VanVleet impressed in the club’s recent three-game road trip, averaging 32.3 points and 8.3 assists, but has produced just 16 points per game in his last three regular-season visits to The City.

Latest Betting Notes: Warriors

The Warriors hope to get a lift from the victory they claimed in dramatic fashion over the Grizzlies on Wednesday night. Trailing by as many as 10 points in the fourth quarter, they rallied to win the see-saw battle on the strength of a Jordan Poole layup with less than three seconds remaining.

However, the Dubs have struggled to successfully follow up on recent victories. With the exception of a five-game win streak over Christmas, the Warriors have failed to record consecutive victories in 24 outings since early December, and have earned just one SU win in their last five home dates.

Stephen Curry recorded a game-high 34 points before being ejected in the dying minutes of Wednesday’s win. Curry has averaged 27 points per game since returning from injury earlier this month, but he has struggled from beyond the arc, hitting just 37 percent of three-point attempts. He is 13-for-31 (41.9%) over his past three home dates.

Raptors Player Prop: OG Anunoby UNDER 14.5 Points

Rumored to be unhappy in Toronto, OG Anunoby is also reportedly being shopped around the trade market. However, he has failed to distinguish himself with big numbers of late, particularly on the road, where he has averaged just 10.3 points over his past four games while converting just 32.6 percent of field-goal attempts. Accordingly, betting value can be found on Anunoby listed as a -124 bet to record UNDER 14.5 points for the fifth time in six games.

Warriors Player Prop: Draymond Green OVER 8.5 Rebounds

Draymond Green continued his dominant play under the bucket in Wednesday’s win over Memphis, hauling down 13 rebounds. Green has now reached double digits in boards in five of his past seven outings, and in seven of 10 home appearances, and is a solid -110 bet to rack up OVER 8.5 rebounds on Friday night.
