Raptors Continue To Be a Rock-Solid OVER Bet
With pressure from the front office mounting, the Los Angeles Lakers have responded by winning two games in a row. The Lakers will look to post their first three-game winning streak of the season when they host the Toronto Raptors on Sunday.
Raptors vs Lakers Game Center.
Lakers look like they’re starting to figure it out
The Lakers recently eked out a one-point win over Dallas at home before following it up with a 114-110 victory over Portland on Saturday. Rajon Rondo had his best game of the season with L.A., producing 17 points, 10 rebounds, six assists and three steals off the bench. L.A. got a big effort from center JaVale McGee (12 points, nine rebounds, six blocks) against Portland.
The Raptors have straight-up dominated this series over the years, as Toronto is 7-0 SU in its past seven games against the Lakers. Star swingman Kawhi Leonard may sit out of today’s game, as the former San Antonio Spur is listed as questionable for the contest with a foot injury. The Raps are likely going to rest Leonard on either Sunday or Monday on their road swing, but as of this writing his status vs the Lakers wasn’t announced.
Can the Raptors reverse their struggles against the Western Conference?
Dating back to last season, Toronto simply hasn’t been getting the job done against the Western Conference. The Raptors are 0-7 ATS in their past seven meetings with West opponents. Toronto is also 0-4 ATS in its previous four when coming off a win and 0-3-1 ATS in its past four Sunday games.
Are you paying attention to Toronto’s ability to cash OVER bets with ease yet? The Raptors have gone OVER in eight of their past 10 tilts. The OVER is also 4-1 in the Lakers’ last five games against Atlantic Division teams.
As of this writing, a line and total for the game had yet to be posted at sportsbooks. When it’s known, we’ll update the preview accordingly.
