The No. 11 Georgia Bulldogs are holding onto the College Football Playoff for dear life. Now 7-2 SU, after last week's gut-wrenching loss to Ole Miss, Kirby Smart simply can't afford another loss tacked onto his record. No. 6 Tennessee had a hiccup midseason, just barely being defeated by Arkansas, but haven't fallen short since. Still, the Bulldogs enter as 9.5-point favorites at Sanford Stadium, where they hold a winning streak dating back to early October 2019.

Tennessee vs Georgia Picks – Week 12
Georgia has its back against the wall. One more loss and the college football world won't see the big, bad 'Dawgs in the CFP. Meanwhile, Tennessee is managing its own hardships as Nico Iamaleava's status is up in the air (but I'll touch on that later).
The honest truth is that Georgia isn't looking as good as it can look. Two blemishes on its record, coincidentally both two fellow SEC programs, and their last three wins being within 15-points or fewer -- just not the vicious Bulldogs we're used to seeing. Last Saturday, RB Trevor Etienne also tried to push through his rib pain, but only took six carries before succumbing to his lingering injury. The junior leads the Bulldogs' ground attack with 477 yards and seven touchdowns. Without him or even with a limited Etienne, the Bulldogs offense is a heck of a lot weaker.
Tennessee is making a campaign for itself, topping the competitive conference with an 8-1 record. Just comparing outings, the Vols 28-18 victory over Kentucky was more impressive than Georgia's mere 13-12 victory. Then, Tennessee was able to defeat 'Bama while Kirby Smart couldn't. At this price, I may as well take a stab at the Volunteers.

Tennessee vs Georgia News
A crucial member of Tennessee's bench may not be playing. Starting quarterback, Nico Iamaleava, exited last week's outing against Mississippi State with an upper body injury and it has since been announced that he is in concussion protocol. Josh Heupel previously told media that the Vols expect the freshman to suit up for Saturday's game and that he was taken off the field at halftime for precautionary measures last week. As mentioned above, Trevor Etienne's status is also up in the air but the lingering rib injury isn't looking promising.
Tennessee vs Georgia Prop Bet: Carson Beck OVER 0.5 interceptions (-120)
Beck hasn't been looking focused, throwing 12 interceptions this season, which is more than he's thrown his entire college career. To make matters worse, he's been picked off in four-straight games, totalling nine interceptions in that span. Now, the senior is lining up against a suffocating defense, as the Vols give up 277.1 YPG (ranked seventh). Averaging two interceptions per game, count on Beck to continue to break under pressure.
