Browns vs Jaguars Picks Week 2

Jaguars -3

The betting trends favor the Jaguars here, as the Browns are just 1-4 ATS in their last five when playing in Jacksonville. On top of that, Deshaun Watson looked putrid in Week 1, and he continues to disappoint since being traded to the Browns. His massive, fully guaranteed contract will force Cleveland to keep him on the field.

That's a massive advantage for the Jaguars. The former Houston Texans pivot has hardly performed with his usual style and grace in Cleveland, tossing for just 15 touchdowns and 11 interceptions on a career low 6.5 yards per target in 12 starts with the Browns. Watson has been ineffective under center and its hard to back Cleveland without Nick Chubb behind in the backfield. Instead let's roll with the young, ascending quarterback.

Trevor Lawrence looked fantastic in the first-half against the Dolphins last week. Lawrence delivered the football on time and in-rhythym to new weapons Brian Thomas Jr. and old friends like Evan Engram. Thomas Jr. in particular was impressive and the only reason each otheir stat sheets wasn't stuffed is a 50-yard pass interference penalty that the rookie wideout earned. Jacksonville's defense also kept the Dolphins explosive offense in check for most of the afternoon.

I like Jacksonville to win this game by a score.

Browns vs Jaguars Prop Pick

Evan Engram UNDER 40.5 Receiving Yards -114

Odds have yet to be released for most of the Browns vs Jaguars prop market at time of writing. However, Cleveland allowed just 3.8 receptions per game for 32.9 yards per game last season, both league lows. I'm all over Evan Engrams UNDER 40.5 receiving yards for Sunday.
