The Philadelphia Eagles visit the New York Giants as -3 point favorites in a juicy NFC East showdown in Week 7. Oddsmakers set the total for this one at 43.5 as we wait to learn news about several key injuries.
The Eagles won last week and the Giants lost, but strangely the Giants were probably more impressive in defeat vs. Cincinnati than the Eagles were in victory vs. the lowly Browns. The Giants' defense held the Bengals' high-powered offense in check for most of the game before giving up a long touchdown run late in the fourth quarter.
There aren't expected to be any weather concerns in this one. Below you can find my analysis and best bets for Eagles vs. Giants contest.

Eagles vs Giants Week 7 Picks
Giants U20.5 (-118)
It's a major red flag that the Giants' offense could only muster seven points last week vs. a Bengals defense that's averaged 32.25 points allowed in the last four games. I understand that Malik Nabers was out last week and he'll more than likely return for this game, but I can't overlook the red flags.
Making matters worse for the G-men, it's looking like left tackle Andrew Thomas might be out for the year. Thomas is quarterback Daniel Jones' blind side protection and New York's best offensive lineman. Thomas hadn't missed a game this season and I wonder if his absence will leave the Giants line looking more like last season's historically bad unit.
With Thomas likely out, expect right tackle Jermaine Eluemunor to swap over to left tackle and for Evan Neal to take over at right tackle. Neal is a human turnstile and finished last season with a pass-blocking grade of 38.5 according to Pro Football Focus.
The Eagles defense really only gave up nine points last week because their special teams unit gifted the Browns a touchdown on a field goal block.
These two coaching staffs know each other's teams intimately and that familiarity often breeds lower scoring games.
Eagles vs Giants Week 7 Props
Barkley Anytime TD (-155)
This isn't the most creative player prop, but I don't think we need to overthink this one. Saquon Barkley vs. his old team in his old stadium? He's probably already planning his touchdown dance.
With Dexter Lawrence likely absent from the interior of the Giants' defensive line, that should create some lanes for Barkley in the redzone. Barkley didn't score a touchdown in his last two games and I think that pattern ends Sunday.
Eagles vs Giants News
Malik Nabers was back at practice Thursday and reports seem to indicate he's likely to play Sunday. However, Dexter Lawrence wasn't at practice and his presence would be missed in a big way on the interior of the Giants' defensive line.
Giant left tackle Andrew Thomas, who hasn't missed a game all season, is visiting with a foot specialist and it's believed that his season may be over. Thomas is New York's best offensive lineman and if this news is confirmed this week it's a major blow for the Giants.
The following Eagles players missed practice on Thursday: Dallas Goedert (hamstring), cornerback Darius Slay (knee), tackle Jordan Mailata and defensive tackle Jalen Carter.
