The Indianapolis Colts take on the Buffalo Bills in Week 11.

Bills Look To Build Momentum Vs Colts

It’s time for the Indianapolis Colts (5-5 SU, 6-4 ATS) to produce against the top dogs after beating two poor teams in the Jaguars and Jets over the last two weeks. They’ll be tested by the Buffalo Bills (6-3, 5-3-1), who blew out the Jets last weekend to bounce back from a stunning loss to Jacksonville.

Indianapolis News & Notes

The Colts’ next two games will likely define their season with road outings against the Bills and Buccaneers. Their prospects don’t look promising considering they haven’t beaten a team with a winning record this season.

Even with a mediocre pass rush, the Bills defense is likely to dominate this one. Jonathan Taylor will need the type of monster performance that we’ve been accustomed to seeing out of him.

The question is whether he and the Colts can show up against a winning opponent. The Colts have the benefit of a relatively healthy offensive unit. The same can’t be said for their defense. The run defense certainly needs to improve if the Colts want a fighting chance.

Buffalo News & Notes

The Bills boast one of the most fearsome defensive units in the league and have proved what they’re capable of against top opponents. Buffalo used the game against the Jets as an opportunity to build some much-needed momentum.

Josh Allen has produced consistently this season and has spread the ball out more, which is ultimately a positive thing for this offense rather than depending heavily on Stefon Diggs.

The running back situation has gotten even more muddled following the Week 10 emergence of Matt Breida, who scored two touchdowns. Devin Singletary, Zack Moss and Breida will all be used in some capacity. The varied cast of characters may not be the best fantasy situation but it will make Buffalo a tougher team to beat.

How Indianapolis Will Cover

Indianapolis has allowed way too many points to mediocre teams. Facing Buffalo’s potent offense will be a daunting task. If the Colts defense comes up big, a +7 spread seems manageable.

How Buffalo Will Cover

If Jonathan Taylor is shut down, the Bills could run up the score against the Colts and Carson Wentz, who won’t be able to cope without an effective Taylor. Meanwhile, Josh Allen is feeling himself after tearing the Jets apart. He seems destined for a repeat performance.
