The Eagles are 7.5-point favorites (on FanDuel) over the Jaguars ahead of their Week 9 matchup in Philadelphia. Philly gets -350 odds on the moneyline, with Jacksonville coming back as +275 underdogs, while the total sits at 46.0 points.
Given the Eagles' strong play lately, the sportsbooks have the Jaguars vs Eagles Week 9 odds in a fair range. While I won't play the moneyline, other strong bets are available for this matchup.

Jaguars vs Eagles Picks Week 9
Eagles -7.5
It's not inaccurate to say the Jaguars stink. Even as the club's offense has come around, Jacksonville is incredibly deficient on defense, which will bite the Jags in Week 9 vs the Eagles.
Jalen Hurts has finally found his rhythm, both with his legs and through the air. The star QB rushed for three touchdowns in Week 8, generating some long-lost momentum for this Eagles offense. Now, pitted against a Jags secondary that is 31st in average yards per pass attempt, Philadelphia could score upward of 30 points and easily clear this 7.5-point spread.
Jaguars vs Eagles Prop Pick
AJ Brown OVER 72.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
Now that we know how vulnerable Jacksonville's secondary is, I anticipate a big day for Philly's passing game, with Brown the greatest beneficiary. The Eagles wideout missed time early in the year but has easily drilled the OVER 72.5 yards in each of his four games.
The Brown-Hurts connection went a little dry in the second half of Week 8, but that could be less of a problem, as it's unlikely Hurts dominates with three ground scores this time around.
Jaguars vs Eagles News: Jaguars down two top receivers
More bad news in Jacksonville, as Christian Kirk has been ruled out for the year with a broken collarbone. On top of that, stud wideout Brian Thomas Jr. will also miss this Week 9 contest due to a chest injury. That doesn't leave much offensive help for Trevor Lawrence, meaning he'll have to rely on depth receivers to pull things out against an improved Eagles defense.
If the Jags can't score and the Eagles defense snags a few turnovers (or even scores a touchdown), then our spread pick is in very good shape.
