Raiders vs Saints Week 17 Picks
Saints -2.5
I like the Saints to cover at home, and after their shutout loss on MNF vs Green Bay, this looks risky. Vegas is a weak team; the Raiders found some success last week vs Jacksonville, but that was more a product of tons of volume on the ground from their running backs than anything else.
Kendre Miller will be a very big piece in NOLA's offense, especially since QB Spencer Rattler has struggled heavily in early NFL action. Alvin Kamara could presumably return next week, which will dramatically change the makeup of NOLA's offense, so it's best to get on this line quickly.
The Raiders are 5-5 ATS in their last 10 games, but that's a product of some enormous numbers working in their favor. While LV covered as a favorite last week, the team was at least a 5.5-point underdog in the previous eight games. Neither team is fantastic or reliable here, but taking the Saints -2.5 at home is the move.
