NHL anytime goalscorer odds are great value for everyday bettors. Even backing some of the better goal-scorers in the league gives you great odds.
Here are three anytime goal picks for tonight's games in the NHL.
Pick 1: Auston Matthew (-150)
The Game: St. Louis Blues vs Toronto Maple Leafs, 7 PM ET
We're looking at $6.67 of profit on a $10 bet for the current league leader in goals to score. Matthews has 13 goals in his last 16 games and is shooting and an incredibly reasonable 18.6%. Seems silly to bet against Matthews.
Pick 2: Alex Ovechkin (+150)
The Game: Colorado Avalanche vs Washington Capitals, 7 PM ET
Alex Ovechkin has made me eat my words since I very publicly stated that would not pass Gretzky for the league record in goals. After I posted that video for Odds Shark, Ovie has scored a goal in each of his last four games for a current five-game goal streak.
The Avs are horrible defensively with the sixth-most goals since the calendar turned to 2024. Ovie is scoring on 25% of his shots in this five-game heater. He's going to make it a six-game streak.
Pick 3: Cole Caufield (+125)
The Game: Anaheim Ducks vs Montreal Canadiens, 7 PM ET
Caufield hasn't scored in his last four games. He's due for a goal. And it's not as if he's doing nothing in that goalless streak. He's averaging 2.75 shots on goal and holds a cumulative 1.33 ixG. He's due.
The Ducks have the third-worst road defensive record in 2024 with 31 goals against in eight games (3.875 per game). Who says Cole "I'm-due-for-a-goal" Caufield doesn't pop one in tonight? Not me.
