Game 7: oilers vs canucks preview & pick
The Game: Edmonton oilers vs vancouver Canucks, 9 PM ET
Team | Puckline | Total | Moneyline |
---|---|---|---|
Edmonton Oilers | -1.5 (+164) | O5.5 (-122) | -166 |
Vancouver Canucks | +1.5 (-198) | U5.5 (+102) | +140 |
Josie's Take: A true back-and-forth series heading back to Rogers Arena for the final meeting. Home ice advantage has played out in this series, each going 2-1 SU at their respective arenas.
I've been waiting for Edmonton's prolific offense to explode and last game, at a crucial time, it finally did. McDavid continued his apple trend this season, notching three assists in the 5-1 victory. Hyman, the Oilers leading scorer, broke his four-game goalless streak to snipe one past Silovs, too. Perfect timing if you ask me.
Ahead of tonight's meeting, the Canucks have announced Brock Boeser will be out with a non-critical blood clotting issue. The 27-year-old has pocketed six points this series.
Going head-to-head with a third-stringer should've been a gift to Edmonton. Though no team has won back-to-back in this series, I'm still riding with the Oilers. So long as the big boys step up and Silovs has another shaky game, Edmonton should fill the net with ease again.
Pick: Oilers ML (-166)
