The NHL's schedule makers need to sort themselves out. On Thursday 13 games were on the schedule and on Saturday 16 games will be played, but today, Friday, only two games are on the docket.

Per our NHL first-period betting report, both of these teams hit the OVER in the opening 20 an awful lot. At home, the Dallas Stars are 15-4 (78.9%) while the Nahsville Predators are 12-5 (70.6%). Combined that's 27-9 or 75%.
I don't know about you but a 75% hit rate is the kind of ratio any sports bettor is looking for. At -150 I'm absolutely betting this tonight.
Pick 2: Philadelphia Flyers vs Minnesota Wild U6 (-115)

Only once has the total gone OVER 6 goals in Philly's last five games while the Wild have kept the total UNDER 6 three times in their last five.
Both of these teams rank near the bottom of the league for goals per game. Minni is scoring 2.88 and Philly 2.83, which ranks them 24th and 25th respectively. I'm confident the total goals UNDER six.
