Game 4: Rangers vs Panthers preview & pick
The Game: New York Rangers vs Florida Panthers, 8 PM ET
Team | Puckline | Total | Moneyline |
---|---|---|---|
New York Rangers | +1.5 (-185) | O5.5 (+100) | +145 |
Florida Panthers | -1.5 (+154) | U5.5 (-120) | -175 |
Michel's Take: I'm taking a bet that has hit 100% of the time in these playoffs. And that's the Rangers on the +1.5 puckline.
Through the postseason, the Rangers have been the dog five times. They've covered the +1.5 puckline in all five games. Through the regular season, New York has been the dog 14 times and covered the +1.5 line twelve times (86%). When road dogs in the regular season, the Rangers have covered a +1.5 puckline 11 times in 12 games (92%).
Not to mention that the Rangers broke their four-goal curse. New York was 0-40 in playoff games when they allowed four or more goals. With that 5-4 win in Game 3, they're 1-40. The Rangers have to be feeling pretty good about their game right now.
And look, the +1.5 puckline trend I brought up with the Rangers, goes beyond just New York in this postseason.
Seventy-nine percent of dogs in the 2024 playoffs have covered the +1.5 puckline. So tonight as the dog, I'm taking the Rangers on the puckline.
