The broken Rangers are in Dallas tonight to take on the Stars at the American Airlines Center. In my opinion, New York has no hope in hell to get a win over a Dallas team that's gone 13-4 at home this season, so I'll easily take the Stars on the -190 moneyline from BET99.

Rangers vs Stars Picks
Dallas Stars ML (-190) at BET99
The Rangers stink so bad the Stars can smell them flying into Dallas. New York is 3-11SU in its last 14 games and has been outscored 31-52 in the process. Beyond their terrible play, there's loads of drama in the New York camp. Captain Jacob Trouba was traded for futures, former second-overall pick Kappo Kakko was also traded for futures after speaking out on his treatment, and a rumored players-only meeting was borderline mutinous. That all happened in the last two weeks!
Dallas hasn't enjoyed a good time against the Rangers winning only one of its last five matchups, but this is its chance to get a rare "dub" thanks to a strong 13-4-0 home record on the season, Jason Robertson has poured it on at home lately with seven points in his last six, OVER 0.5 points is -140 at BET99.
The Stars have been exceptional when -180 home favorites or lower as they are tonight going 24-5SU (83%) since the 2023 season and returning +10.5 units of profit in that span. With that type of trend and how terrible the Rangers are, I'm backing the Stars tonight.
Rangers vs Stars Player Prop
Vincent Trocheck U2.5 SOG (-125) at BET99
Trocheck has gone OVER 2.5 shots on goal in four of his last five road games per Outlier, now normally I would jump on that line, but my prop picks are as bad as the Rangers with an embarrassing -20 units of "profit", so I'm pulling a 180 on myself and taking the UNDER and look there's more to this than just me hating myself.
While Vinny has indeed gone O2.5 shots in four of his last five road games, he's gone UNDER 2.5 shots on goal in four of his last seven games and I feel that trend hits in Dallas tonight. The Stars have done a great job of limiting shots lately with an average of 21.8 in their last four games thanks to the sixth-best 5on5 Corsi rate (55%), I don't think New York and specifically Trocheck will see enough of the puck to get that shot total up OVER two shots on goal.
