Are you ready to see a lot of goals, again? Just like in Game 1 between the Edmonton Oilers and Vancouver Canucks, I believe there will be a bunch of goals tonight in Game 2 at Rogers Arena. Because, lately, these two teams always run up the score.
Check out my daily expert picks through the NHL playoffs. Every day my colleague Josie Costigan and I give you a pick for every game on the schedule. Hopefully, you've been tailing me through these playoffs because I've got a 33-18 record and over 6 units of profit.

Same-Game Parlay Leg 1: OVER 6.0 Goals
It rains goals in this matchup just as much as it actually rains on the West Coast. We've seen the OVER hit just about every time these two opponents meet. The OVER is 5-2-1 in the last eight meetings, but if the line was 6.0 goals (like it is tonight) the record would be 6-1-1 (75%).
In those eight meetings, we've seen a total of 58 goals - which is an average of 7.25 per game by the way - on a total of 478 shots. That's a goal for every 8 shots!
This matchup has been all-out offense, why would that change tonight? Vancouver is 5-0 against Edmonton this year playing this way so they aren't about to change. And Edmonton doesn't seem to be able to dictate the game enough to change the style of play.
Same-Game Parlay Leg 2: Hyman Anytime Goal
With nine goals in the playoffs, Hyman now has 63 goals in 86 total games this season. Hyman has more goals than money in the bank. Well, not literally of course, but you got the joke.
Vancouver was disciplined going shorthanded only once in Game 1, but they've made it a habit of running to the box in the playoffs. They'd been shorthanded 22 times in six games so before G1 vs Edmonton. An average of 3.7 times per game!
Edmonton is going to make Game 2 chippy with some bruised egos to fix. There's going to be penalty trouble for sure. Where Hyman can more easily do his thang.

Same-Game Parlay Leg 3: Boeser U2.5 SOG
The Oilers have agreed they need to shut down Brock Boeser. With four goals in six games prior to G1, Boeser was a massive threat. And Edmonton was successful in closing him down. Boeser only had a single shot on goal in Game1.
Sure, Edmonton still lost, but that's more about team defense rather than shutting down one specific player. They'll keep Boeser closely defended during Game 2.
