The NHL has an abundance of player and game props to get your hands on. A popular, rather simple option is shots on goal. We don't need the pucks to go in (though that's a nice bonus), we just need them to wind up their stick and hit the net.
NHL Prop #1 - Auston Matthews OVER 4.5 Shots (+110)
NHL Prop #2 - Nikolaj Ehlers OVER 2.5 Shots (-135)
NHL Prop #3 - Mats Zuccarello UNDER 1.5 Shots (+130)

NHL shots on goal odds: February 27
Who likes to shoot right now? With all the NHL matchups tonight, here are the guys we're leaning on to go OVER or UNDER their shots on goal prop.
auston matthews OVER 4.5 Shots (+110)
Matthews is staying calm, cool and collected on his potential journey to 70-plus goals this season. His shot props always sit around the 4.5-mark but the 26-year-old hits the OVER a little less than half the time, cashing it in four of his 10 February appearances.
However, Matthews had a stellar six-shot performance in Vegas recently, potting a single goal.

Notably, the Golden Knights allow 11.24 SA/GP (ranked eighth) to centers -- the most of any other position.
Nikolaj Ehlers OVER 2.5 Shots (-135)
Despite sitting just outside a wild-card spot, the Blues struggle to cover left-wingers. Sitting just behind the dull Blackhawks, the Blues allow the second-most shot attempts to wingers on the left side (6.86 SA/GP)
Ehlers uses it to his advantage. Whenever the Denmark native has faced the the other four teams who allow the most shots to his position (Chicago, Montreal, Toronto and Anaheim) he has hit the OVER on this line 77% of the time. He has fallen short on just two of the nine occasions.
Mats Zuccarello UNDER 1.5 Shots (+130)
There's plenty of reasons to lean on the plus-money here. Carolina is stingy in the shots department, allowing a league-low 25.47 shots per game.
Mats Zuccarello will be well-covered against a group that gives up just 4.59 SA/GP to right-wingers, the fewest in the NHL. When meeting the Canes and Canucks, the team that allows the second-fewest shots to his position, the 36-year-old is restricted. In the three meetings accounted for, Zuccarello has only surpassed 1.5 shots just once. But, when he last met Carolina, he could only get the puck off his tape once.
