The NHL has an abundance of player and game props to get your hands on. A popular, rather simple option is shots on goal. We don't need the pucks to go in (though that's a nice bonus), we just need them to wind up their stick and hit the net.

NHL Prop #2 - Nathan MacKinnon OVER 3.5 Shots (-150)

NHL shots on goal odds: February 6
Who likes to shoot right now? With a bunch of NHL matchups tonight, here are the guys we're leaning on to go OVER or UNDER their shots on goal prop.
cole caufield OVER 3.5 Shots (-120)
I've said it plenty of times and it never fails me -- Caufield is going to shoot regardless of how bad the Habs are or how good his opponent is. The 23-year-old just finds a way to drive to the net or discover an open slot that leads to a good scoring chance.
His last outing had no shots, but that was just before the All-Star break and we know everybody was on vacation mode at that point. Prior to that meeting, Caufield pocketed 18 shots in four games. You can trust this kid.
nathan MacKinnon OVER 3.5 Shots (-150)
MacKinnon has recorded four or more shots in 33 games this season, including earning six or more shots in 16 of those meetings. Playing during the All-Star break must've kept the gears in shape with MacKinnon sniping seven shots last night.
In the latter half of the season, Colorado is in a promising position by leading the Central. Though, the top three teams are just a win or two from each other. The Avs will want to keep the ball rolling to round off the regular season.
zach hyamn OVER 3.5 Shots (+100)
Edmonton's historic win streak is still alive but could be threatened tonight by Vegas, who just budged ahead of the Oilers in the Pacific Division. It'll need to be all hands on deck at T-Mobile Arena if Edmonton wants to inflate the streak to 17 wins.

I needed to throw in a plus-money pick tonight and Hyman is always riding the cusp of four shots. During this streak, the 31-year-old has collected four or more shots in eight games.
