Current Pick Record: 9-8
Renegades (+6.5) vs Defenders
My winning XFL picks record is on the line for this championship game. I could play scared and take the favored Defenders, but let's live a little.
The Renegades won just four regular season games and backed into the playoffs with consecutive losses, but they took it to a new level last week. Arlington came out firing with 23 first-half points and a three-touchdown performance from QB Luis Perez.
It was Perez's best performance since he completed 31 passes for 335 yards against the Defenders in Week 9. The Renegades surprisingly pushed DC to the brink in that contest, falling 28-26 in overtime. If Perez is on, the Renegades can hang around in this game to cover, or maybe even win.
OVER 46.5 Total Points
Initially, I leaned UNDER on this one. The Defenders live and die by their rushing attack, and the Renegades enter the final with the second-best rushing defense in the XFL. That's not a great combo for points.
However, the Defenders have been an OVER machine in recent weeks. Including a playoff win over the Sea Dragons, the Defenders have combined for 48 or more points in nine straight games. Last time out against Arlington, on April 16th, the two sides combined for 54 points. All we have to base our picks on is past history, and that history is telling me to go OVER.
How To Bet On XFL Betting Odds:
While you can bet on spreads and point totals, one of the easiest ways to bet on XFL betting odds is through a moneyline. This moneyline bet means you simply pick which side you think will win between the favorite (signaled by a minus sign) and underdog (with a plus).
An XFL moneyline of +200 means that you would win $200 on a successful $100 wager. That’s also equivalent to fractional odds of 2/1, decimal odds of 3.00 and implied odds of 33.33 percent. A negative moneyline of -200 means that you would have to wager $200 in order to win $100 on the favorite.
