Freddie Freeman and the Dodgers face the White Sox

NRFI Picks World Series Game 4: Freeman Scares Me

Game 4 of the World Series offers one guaranteed last shot to nail a NRFI pick. The Dodgers have run the show through three contests, outslugging the Yanks but hitting the NRFI in two of three games.

Let's see where I lean with an MLB NRFI pick for Game 4 of the World Series.

YRFI Pick Game 4: Yankees vs Dodgers (-125)

Yankees vs Dodgers Odds -- Game Time 8:00 p.m. ET

I'm just so scared of Freddie Freeman and the boys in this one. Freeman pooched my NRFI yesterday with a two-run bomb in the first inning, and I'm not sure rookie Luis Gil can walk the same tightrope and escape without a run scored.

Shohei Ohtani may not be completely healthy, but he can work a walk like it's nobody's business. And, brother, Gil yielded more walks than any pitcher in baseball this season. Regardless, I envision plenty of foot traffic in the first inning, where a Teoscar Hernandez single or another Freeman homer breaks things open. The Dodgers were on the Yanks every inning in Game 3. Game 4 will follow suit.

As for the Yanks, maybe they finally break through against the Dodgers' bullpen game. I'm glad to see the Dodgers starters take a rest, as they've carved New York through three games. And as I break it all down, I believe Game 4 has a very strong outlook for a YRFI from either side.
