For Wednesday's MLB expert picks, we chose to dive into a lopsided AL East matchup between the Orioles and Blue Jays. First pitch is scheduled for 7:07 p.m. at Rogers Centre.

Orioles vs Blue Jays Notable Players To Watch
SP Albert Suarez (BAL): An ex-reliever who dipped from MLB for seven years, Suarez is back in the bigs and now starting for Baltimore. The righty owns a 1.00 ERA in his last two starts. Opponents own a .544 OPS, but walks have been a problem during that stretch.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (TOR): Guerrero is suddenly one of the AL's best contact hitters. Since May 1, Vladdy is batting .366. He homered Monday, which suggests more power isn't far away. I'd bet his prop OVERs right now.
Orioles vs Blue Jays Preview & Expert Pick — Orioles ML (+100)
To be completely honest, I don't even need to see the pitching matchups to be comfortable with this bet. Frankly, this is a no-brainer, given the O's track record at Rogers Centre (9-1 SU in last 10) and the plus-money value.
Baltimore's offense unloaded on Toronto Tuesday, plating 10 runs and making the Jays bullpen look like a Triple-A crew (which isn't that far off from the truth). And after an opener day yesterday, the Blue Jays relief core will be gassed again, which doesn't bode well.
Jose Berrios represents the only obstacle to our bet. The Puerto Rican pitched once against Baltimore this season, allowing two runs (on two homers) over seven innings. Several O's hitters have Berrios' number, as active O's players are slugging .524 against him.
Bet on Adley Rutschman today. The catcher's numbers are nuts against Berrios, with Rutschman slashing .632/.667/1.211 with three homers in 19 at-bats.

Orioles vs Blue Jays Preview & Expert Pick No. 2 — UNDER 8.0 runs (-105)
Despite Baltimore's propensity for OVERs, I'm fading the computer and taking the UNDER. Berrios will likely allow a homer or two, but the Blue Jays are 8-3-1 U/O/P when Berrios starts. Even when he gets ripped, he usually recovers — perhaps not enough to win the game, but enough for the O's to win.
Every Jays game is the same. When the club loses, the other team scores first, and Toronto's middling offense can't battle back. I'm confident Baltimore will put up a run the first time through the order, and from there, it'll be up to the O's 'pen to keep the lead. I'm comfy with that play, especially at slightly favorable odds.
