MLB Player Props June 24th

MLB Player Props Today: Get On Smith's Hot Streak

I'm kicking this week off with a pair of MLB player props. I'm going exclusively to the hit props today, taking one player to get at least one knock and another to end his day hitless.

Here are my two MLB player props for June 24th:

June 24th MLB Hit Prop: Josh Smith Over 0.5 Hits (-150)

Rangers vs Brewers Matchup Preview - Game Time: 8:10 pm ET

Josh Smith is on one hell of a hot streak. In June, Smith is hitting .375 with seven multi-hit games and four homers. He has just five hitless games this month (in 20 contests). In his last five games, alone, Smith has seven hits, three homers, and a 1.500 OPS.

The one tough thing here for Smith is he's facing Brewers ace Freddy Peralta. However, the Milwaukee righty hasn't been quite as dominant as you'd think. Peralta is rocking a 4.06 ERA on the season and has allowed eight or more hits in three of his last eight outings.

If Smith doesn't get his hit against Peralta, I'm a bit worried, though. The Brewers bullpen is one of the best in baseball, rocking a top-five ERA (3.30) and WHIP (1.20). Let's get that hit early and get out of there.

June 24th MLB Hit Prop: Eddie Rosario Under 0.5 Hits (+135)

Nationals vs Padres Matchup Preview - Game Time: 9:40 pm ET

Eddie Rosario is having himself a pretty rough year. The Nats outfielder is hitting just .182 on the season and just .167 in his last 10 games.

He also faces San Diego starter Matt Waldron tonight, who has been quietly unhittable lately. Waldron hasn't allowed more than six hits in each of his last eight outings. He's averaging just four hits per contest in that stretch, while consistently pitching past the fifth inning.

Rosario has never raced Waldron before in his MLB career.
