Sometimes it's not just about who you're playing on any given night, but when you're playing them, and the Nuggets must face the Knicks at a time when their offense is pulverizing opponents to the tune of 124.4 points per 100 possessions during their four-game winning streak. Denver's offense isn't that far behind at 121.6 points per 100 possessions, but it wasn't enough to prevent consecutive road losses to the Minnesota Timberwolves and Chicago Bulls on Saturday and Monday night, respectively. 

Those defeats marked the first time the Nuggets have dropped two games in a row since Dec. 27, with the team having gone 12-3 in their 15 matchups prior to these recent outings. Their recent success has thrust them into the fourth seed in the Western Conference with home-court advantage in the opening round of the playoffs should that spot hold firm. New York, meanwhile, is just a game behind the reigning champion Boston Celtics in the East for the No. 2 seed. 

The Knicks hold a win over Denver already this season and in convincing fashion, prevailing 145-118 at Ball Arena on Nov. 25 on the back of a franchise-tying 45 assists, with O.G. Anunoby contributing a career-best 40 points. That's never a good sign knowing an opponent has lit you up once before not that long ago, especially one that has nearly matched that exact point total with 143 points in each of their last two victories which were by at least 23 points.

Even with Josh Hart listed as questionable with an injured knee, knowing head coach Tom Thibodeau's history of running his starters heavy minutes anyway, New York should have enough to both win and cover regardless of Hart's final status. It's 3-0 SU and ATS in its last three home appearances, and even beat the Nuggets by 38 a season ago at MSG, as well.

Nikola Jokic UNDER 50.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-108)

The triple-double machine that is Nikola Jokic could easily make this prop look foolish almost immediately, but the UNDER wager comes with good reason. Jokic has only gone OVER this mark in two of his last eight games, and has also failed to do so in two of his last three meetings with New York.

The three-time league Most Valuable Player only registered 22 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists against the Knicks back in November, which is a pedestrian box score by his enormously high standards. New York also ranks seventh and second, respectively, in points and rebounds allowed to opposing centers.
