Domantas Sabonis, Sacramento Kings

NBA Player Props Today: Sabonis To Go To Work In P+R vs Wizards

Yesterday's NBA player prop picks went with more upside than anything, but a 1-3 finish was befitting of April Fools' Day, so here's hoping Wednesday's nine-game schedule can right the ship. Be weary, though, because of those nine matchups, eight have a spread of 8.5 points or more, so there could be plenty of blowouts in store.

Here are four more expert player prop picks for your consideration, including a combination prop involving points and rebounds for Sacramento Kings big man Domantas Sabonis (-104) on the road against the Washington Wizards on April 2, 2025.

Domantas Sabonis OVER 34.5 Points + Rebounds vs. Wizards (-104 at Sportsbook)

Preview: Sacramento Kings vs. Washington Wizards, 7 p.m. ET

The only risk here is if Sacramento doesn't play Sabonis his regular dose of minutes, as Washington has dropped three games in a row with two coming by an average margin of 39.5 points. The Kings are listed as the 13.5 betting favorites at Capital One Arena, which surprisingly isn't even of the largest spreads of the evening, but it's still an indicator that oddsmakers don't foresee this game being competitive.

Sabonis is averaging 17 points and 15.4 rebounds in his last five appearances since returning from injury, but he's only exceeded 34.5 points and rebounds on two occasions. Thankfully, those two instances have come in the last three games, and the one time he fell short was because he saw less than 30 minutes of action in a blowout loss to the Orlando Magic.

The Wizards give up more points and rebounds to opposing centers than any other team in the Association, according to Odds Shark's metrics. Sabonis did register a double-double of 29 points and 18 rebounds versus Washington earlier in the season on Jan. 19, and a similar line would easily surpass this mark on Wednesday.

Miles Bridges OVER 10.5 Rebounds + Assists vs. Pacers (-110 at Sportsbook)

Preview: Charlotte Hornets vs. Indiana Pacers, 7 p.m. ET

It's the Miles Bridges show for the Charlotte Hornets over this final stretch, as LaMelo Ball will undergo arthroscopic surgery to address a right ankle impingement on top of having a minor procedure done on his wrist. In the last three games sans his teammate, Bridges has averaged a team-high 19 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 5.3 assists.

We're just looking at the latter two statistics to hopefully hit an OVER against the Indiana Pacers, as Bridges would need at least 11 combined boards and dimes at -110 value. He just had 10 rebounds and eight assists in a narrow four-point win over the Utah Jazz on March 31, at the very least, yet that was just the first time he'd gone OVER this number in four tries.

In 20 games in which Ball has sat in 2024-25, Bridges has averaged 9.1 rebounds and 4.8 assists while going OVER this number 15 times. Charlotte's options are painfully limited these days, so now's the time to ride his production and hope for loaded box scores.

Amen Thompson OVER 25.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists vs. Jazz (-125 at Sportsbook)

Preview: Utah Jazz vs. Houston Rockets, 8 p.m. ET

Amen Thompson is the gift that keeps on giving in the PRA (points + rebounds + assists) market, as the Houston Rockets forward has consistently been hitting OVERs with 11 in his last 15 games at 25.5. He's pulled this off in his last three games, as well, including seven of his last eight.

The 22-year-old had 30 (15 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists) versus the Utah Jazz nearly a week ago on March 27, which just further reinforces what feels like one of the stronger locks of the day. Utah is allowing 126 points per 100 possessions over its last five games, ranking 26th overall, while the Rockets rank eighth in offense (121 points per 100 possessions) during that identical stretch.

Don't overthink this. Even when playing just 24 minutes in a 39-point destruction of the Phoenix Suns on March 30, Thompson still ended with a near triple-double of 12 points, 10 rebounds, and nine dimes. He's close to foolproof with his numbers regardless of how long he sees the floor, and Wednesday should be no different.

Bogdan Bogdanovic OVER 9.5 Points vs. Pelicans (+115 at Sportsbook)

Preview: New Orleans Pelicans vs. Los Angeles Clippers, 10:30 p.m. ET

It was on March 11 when the New Orleans Pelicans pulled off a surprising 127-120 upset win over the visiting Los Angeles Clippers at the Smoothie King Center. The takeaway from that night, though, is that Zion Williamson, CJ McCollum, and Trey Murphy III combined for 66 of the Pelicans' points, and all three players have since been ruled out for the remainder of the season due to various injuries.

The Clippers are tied with the Rockets as the largest favorites of the day at 17.5 points, so should they run away with this result early, someone like Bogdan Bogdanovic could rack up some extra minutes coming off the bench. He's only scored in the double digits once in his last five outings and had just eight points against New Orleans several weeks ago, but there's a strong possibility of head coach Tyronn Lue riding his second unit a bit more here with the opposition posing little to no threat.
