Points Per Game Betting Favorite: Luka Doncic, Dallas Mavericks

Luka Doncic's points per game have progressively risen each of the last three seasons, culminating with a career-best 33.9 points across 70 games which ranked first overall in 2023-24. It marked the first scoring title of his career, although Joel Embiid averaged 34.7 points in 39 appearances but failed to qualify for the distinction based on not playing enough games.

Working in Doncic's favor this time around is that the Philadelphia 76ers added Paul George this offseason, and that should take a chunk out of Embiid's production considering the 34-year-old forward hasn't averaged fewer than 21.5 points since missing all but six games in 2015. When also taking into account Embiid's history with injuries, it's easy to see why oddsmakers believe Doncic will become the 11th player to win exactly two scoring crowns.

Rebounds Per Game Betting Favorite: Domantas Sabonis, Sacramento Kings

Domantas Sabonis was a walking double-double machine for the Sacramento Kings last season by accumulating 77 in his 82 appearances, nine more than anyone else. He led all players with 13.7 rebounds per game, as well, and that number was 0.8 more boards than the second-ranked Rudy Gobert.

Sabonis secured 15 or more rebounds on 30 occasions, 18 or more in 14 games, and 20 or more eight separate times. He averaged the second-most minutes of his career and never once sat, so there's little reason to doubt the three-time All-Star can't be a monster on the glass yet again.

Assists Per Game Betting Favorite: Trae Young, Atlanta Hawks

Trae Young has finished second or third in the league in assists every season since 2020 but has yet to win the assists crown, which makes it all the more surprising that he's getting the early nod in odds ahead of last year's dimes king Tyrese Haliburton.

The Atlanta Hawks sniper does have the most total assists over the last five years with 3,215, which is 134 than anyone else. This race will likely once again come down to Young and Haliburton, and the odds are close enough that you can't go wrong either way.

Threes Per Game Betting Favorite: Stephen Curry, Golden State Warriors

Only once in the last four years has Stephen Curry not led the league in total 3-pointers, and the two players who finished ahead of him (Klay Thompson and Buddy Hield in 2023) aren't expected to be in the thick of it this upcoming campaign.

Even in the latter stages of his career, Curry's shooting touch hasn't evaded him, converting 4.8 threes last season at a 40 percent clip. He's the overwhelming odds favorite here for a reason, so barring a catastrophic injury, this is truly the safest bet of the bunch.
