navy vs army Picks – Week 16
Despite holding the fewest Commander-in-Chief's trophy (10), Army has became the modern-era service academy dynasty, winning four of the last six titles outright. The Black Knights are also entering Northwest Stadium ranked-No. 19 in the AP Poll and fresh off an AAC Championship win over Tulane, 35-14, that gifted them a 9-0 record in conference play. Navy has fallen in three of its last five, including earning zero points against Tulane, a team I just mentioned Army had no issues manhandling.
It's impossible to halt the Black Knights' ground attack, led by QB Bryson Daily, that is averaging a nation-leading 308.9 YPG. Against Tulane, Army hung a whopping 335 total rushing yards, while attempting just two passes (both of which he completed for 17 yards, BTW). While Navy can expect Daily to run the ball and adjust its game plan -- it doesn't matter. Daily can run through a sea of people and still gain an impressive amount of yardage.

Allowing 164.8 rushing yards per game, the Midshipmen have done nothing to warrant me thinking they can slow Daily down on Saturday afternoon. Navy has only covered one underdog spread of 6.5-points or more and that was all the way back in Week 3. Give me Army.

navy vs army News
As of Tuesday afternoon, 90% of bets and 77% of money are on Army as 6.5-point favorites. Navy may lead the all-time series 62-55-7, but the Black Knights have turned a new leaf to defeat them in back-to-back seasons. When the Commanders-in-Chief's title game features just one favored team, the favorite is 8-2 SU.
Navy vs army Prop Bet: Bryson Daily oVER 124.5 Rushing Yards (-114)
Bryson Daily has nearly double the amount of rushing yards (1,480) as he does passing yards (877). He has obliterated this line in six straight performances, the lowest recording in that span being 136 yards vs UAB. The Texas native even managed 145 rushing yards against Notre Dame's top 10 defense. According to Outlier, the senior is averaging 145.3 YPG, a bit jump from what is line is set at ahead of the service academy battle.
