Why is Justin Fields (+300) Favored in Week 17?
This one's easy. Fields is playing this week vs the Lions, a team with a swiss cheese defense and a propensity for inducing high-scoring fantasy paloozas. It helps that this game is indoors at Ford Field, too, which makes it a dream for a run-first quarterback like Fields. He could snap for a big game.
Top Fantasy QB: Week 17 Best Bet
Jared Goff (+1400)
What a crazy world. Right now, Goff is a lock for fantasy playoffs, and his week 17 matchup with the Bears is very, very juicy. His +1400 odds are probably right — this is a legitimate longshot bet — but I love the upside.
Chicago allows the eighth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks. Goff has scored 20+ points in three of the last four weeks, and, with Detroit fighting for its playoff lives, he's bound to come out gunning.

Why Is Christian McCaffrey (+325) Favored in Week 17?
CMC's matchup vs the Raiders is very good. Las Vegas is essentially waving the white flag, electing to bench Derek Carr in favor of inexperienced backup Jared Stidham. I imagine that losing energy translates to the club's defense, too, which gives McCaffrey a chance to feast.
Vegas allows the seventh-most fantasy points to running backs this year. A few checkdown passes to McCaffrey could turn this matchup into a fantasy gold mine. As far as betting goes, though, I see better value elsewhere.
Top PPR Fantasy RB: Week 17 Best Bet
Saquon Barkley (+400)
This week, the Giants draw the Colts, owners of the third-worst fantasy run defense in the league. I like the Giants' chances to win as much as I like Saquon's chances of popping off for a big game. Barkley has looked solid lately, snagging at least five catches in back-to-back contests, and has found the end zone in four of his last five. At +400, he offers a smidge of extra value.
Top Fantasy Football Players odds: Wide Receivers

Why is Justin Jefferson Favored in Week 17?
Jefferson is the best receiver in football; he's reminded owners of that every week. The LSU product is coming off three straight weeks of double-digit catches and over 30 fantasy points as he chases Calvin Johnson's elusive record for most receiving yards in a season.
The matchup vs Green Bay this week isn't fantastic, but there are few reasons to ever bet against Jefferson.
Top PPR Fantasy WR: Week 17 Best Bet
Ja'Marr Chase (+400)
If you back Jefferson this week, I get it. However, if you're seeking a touch of extra value, Chase is the man. The 22-year-old has reeled in at least seven catches in his last four contests, although the yardage hasn't been super pretty.
Chase would be touchdown dependent this week, but I reckon he pulls it off, as Buffalo ranks 21st in the league in allowing fantasy points to wideouts.
What is the difference between PPR and non-PPR scoring?
In PPR leagues, there’s more scoring. Instead of just yards and touchdowns impacting the score, running backs, receivers and tight ends are awarded an extra point for every reception. This caveat places extra importance on pass-catching running backs or high-volume receivers who rack up catches.
Who was the best fantasy football player in 2021?
Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen led all players with 417.7 fantasy points in 2021.
How do I bet on fantasy football?
Betting on fantasy football is sort of like prop-betting on a particular player to have a good game. The more yards, touchdowns and catches a player gets, the more fantasy points he accumulates. In this article, we break down the players at each position who will score the most fantasy points in a given week.
